Teacher Lorien McComb

This closed-book exam will cover leverything in the radicals unit, including: simplifying radicals, writing mixed radicals as entire radicals, adding & subtracting radicals (like radicals only!), multiplying radicals (monomials, binomials, and squaring binomials), dividing radicals, rationalizing denominators (monomial and binomial), radicals with variables, contextual problems (e.g. Pythagorean Theorem, side length of a square or cube), and solving radical equations that simplify to either linear of quadratic equations (don't forget restrictions and extraneous roots), including those with 2 radicals.

The exam will consist of multiple choice, numerical response, and written response questions.

Good luck!
